Yoga for the Heart
Yoga and other exercises for recovery from heart attack and stroke. This course will help you to recover physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Topics we will cover are the emotional effects of having a heart attack or a stroke as well as focusing on proper exercise using yoga techniques to regain strength, balance and flexibility. We will also address how to manage anxiety, fear and depression which occur after a life event such as stroke and heart attack. Proper eating habits, foods will be addressed as well accepting emotional support. how to manage your future health, communication with your doctors and health care providers.
