Join us for "Sonic Soundscapes" at the Center for Iyengar Yoga in Royal Oak—an evening designed to quiet the mind and deepen your practice through movement, breath, and immersive sound. As the sun sets, let gentle yoga flows and guided meditation blend into an atmospheric tapestry of live soundscapes, carrying you into a state of deep relaxation.
Doors open at 7:30pm. When you arrive, please settle in quietly and enjoy the stillness—this is your time to unwind, reflect, and prepare for the experience ahead. We’ll begin together at 8:00pm, moving and breathing through a sequence that welcomes all levels, before shifting into meditation accompanied by soothing sonic textures. The event concludes at 9:30pm, leaving you grounded, refreshed, and connected.
Please bring your own yoga mat, props, and meditation cushions—anything you need to feel comfortable and at ease. All are welcome to join this peaceful evening in the heart of Royal Oak. Space is limited, so arrive early, embrace the silence, and let yourself be carried by the sound.

This collective crafts immersive journeys that blend movement, meditation, and live sound into a transportive ritual for body and mind. At the heart of the group is Abhi Durga Devi, whose soothing, soulful voice leads the movement and meditation, inviting participants into a state of deep presence and openness.
Tom Price anchors the energy with tribal and mystical rhythms, weaving together djembe, frame drum, and Tibetan bowls to create a powerful pulse that grounds the experience. Behind it all, David Shiva Das shapes the atmosphere with lush background soundscapes—layering synthesizers and guitars to evoke a sense of otherworldly space and introspection.
